✷ Archival Library ↴
As part of the festival, the library at Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus will be transformed into a guest-curated exhibition inspired by British writer and archivist Paul Gorman’s personal magazine collection. His interest in magazines and archiving spans several decades and forms the basis of books he has written, such as Story of The Face – The Magazine that Changed Culture and Totally Wired – The Rise and Fall of the Music Press.
The exhibition “The Sound Not the Echo”, presented at the festival, includes just over one hundred issues dating from the late 1950s to the present day. The selection features titles such as the punk zine Ben is Dead, the editor-less The Leveller, and the feminist magazine Spare Rib. Together, they form a mosaic of magazines that were innovative and groundbreaking in their own time.
The exhibition is open during the festival’s regular opening hours throughout the weekend.
✷ Stage Program ↴
During the festival weekend, visitors will be able to experience a stage program that connects and activates the festival’s various components. We invite you to a cultural program that moves through all the festival’s spaces and, through formats ranging from intimate to large-scale, explores the history, conditions, challenges, and collective knowledge of magazines.

✷ Filmroom ↴
As part of this year’s edition of Grupptryck, the participating magazine FLM is also organizing a film program together with the traveling screening initiative DIA, both run by Olga Ruin and Rebecca González León. During spring 2024, the two editors organized a study circle on film as text and text as film at Hägerstensåsen Community House. The film program revisits this question: how can film be approached through text?
The program will be introduced on site by Olga Ruin and Rebecca González León and screened several times during both days of the festival. The introduction is held in Swedish.
Eat and Drink The café at Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus will be open throughout the entire festival. We’ll be serving light meals, beverages, and fika.
Location You can find all the information about how to get to the festival on Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus’ website, here.
Accessibility The building is fully accessible. An elevator provides access to all floors. The lower level of the building has no obstructive thresholds. Spacious wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available on both the entrance floor and the upper level.

Grupptyck: Magazine and Zine Festival is one of the few dedicated magazine festivals in the world and the only one of its kind in Sweden. The festival is organized by Tablå and was created in response to a need for both a gathering place and a forum for the contemporary scene of self-published magazines, while also situating it within a historical context.
The festival’s first edition took place on May 17-18 2025 at Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus, welcoming over 30 editorial teams and 600 visitors, and was highlighted, among other outlets, by Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter.
Grupptyck was initiated by Felicia Granath, Moa Forsberg Ardelius, and Ester Svanevik, who also make up the board of Tablå Cultural Association.
